Big thick hair problem?

i have bigg poffy hair when its dry i want to be able to have a differnt hairstyle then just keep striaghnting in and straightning it and trying to scrunch it i want like victoria secret models sexy waves but my hair reachers my shoulder a little longer how do i do that or any other ideas will help too

I noticed that your YSN name is Greekbaby... I am also Greek and i feel like you just described my hair! Try Using a blow dryer with a diffuser, some anti frizz serum when its wet and again to smooth it when it's dry, and then brush it. DO this before bed so over night, the oils that your skin naturally produce will weigh it down a little. To get your scrunchy waves, wen it is wet brush it, shake it, run extra hold mousse through it and then pin is to the bottom of your neck in a bun messily and lets it dry there for an hour or so then take it out and let it air dry, then add some more mousse and scrunch! Wallah!

straighten it like you usually do and then curl it with a big-barelled curling iron, or a barrel-waver. good luck

when you come out of the shower, DON'T use a towel to dry your hair. My hair is exactly like yours. Instead, take a paper towel that won't cause friction with your hair and just pat/squeeze (for lack of a better word) your hair.

try a herbal essances wave shampoo and conditioner.

personally, i had big thick hair, that i didn't really like so i combined dove's intense damage shampoo with herbal essances wave shampoo then herbal essances wave conditioner and my hair is now thinner and wavier, but enough that i can also straighten it through.

if none of these answers help you or you want a little extra help, go to a salon or a hair place and ask the hairstylists what you should try or do... they usually have secrets that most don't know.

also, if they suggest a shampoo, it always cost more at a salon, so take down the name and try to find it at a local walmart or supermarket.

straightening your hair alot can make it dry sometimes, you could get a leave in conditioner that tames frizz and makes it shine like victorias secret models
